Hadaka Shitsuji opens with the protagonist suddenly losing his job and stumbling on a mysterious flyer offering 30,000 yen a day for "a simple job that anyone can do, you can just sit around all day if you want." Dubious but desperate, he heads to the listed address and finds a palatial estate full of chalk-white walls and dazzling butlers.

The estate's owner is out of town and the butlers need a "master" to give them orders while he's gone. The protagonist's sadistic side starts waking up as the orders he gives get progressively more preposterous.
